Symmetry Your Behind-The-Scenes Partner

The front door

The Symmetry bubble sits on your own website - an assistant that answers from your words, a team behind it, and every conversation landing as real work rather than another inbox.

Most websites end a conversation at the moment it starts. Someone reads the services page, decides to ask a question, fills in a contact form, and the enquiry becomes an email in a shared inbox - where it competes with newsletters and invoices until a person notices it.

The visitor, meanwhile, has no idea whether anything happened. So they call. Or they do not, and you never learn they were there.

The Symmetry bubble replaces that dead end with a front door.

One line of script, any website

The bubble is a single script tag pasted before the closing body tag. It runs on WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow or a hand-built site, because the host page is asked for nothing beyond that one line: no plugin, no framework, no theme surgery.

Everything a visitor sees renders inside a frame served by Symmetry rather than injected into your page. Your site’s styles cannot break the panel, and the panel cannot break your site. It loads nothing from a third party.

A practice with several sites gets one bubble per site, each with its own domains and its own location, so a conversation arrives already knowing which office it belongs to.

The assistant answers first, from your words

An assistant greets the visitor and answers from material you write: hours, locations, services, insurance accepted, how to book, what to bring. That written knowledge is the only thing it is permitted to state as fact, which is the whole design. An assistant that cannot invent an answer cannot invent one about your practice.

Anything clinical, personal or simply unknown goes to your team instead of being guessed at. The assistant offers a few suggested questions with each reply, so a visitor who does not know what to ask still gets somewhere.

Before the first message, the visitor gives a name, a phone number and an email. That single small friction is what turns an anonymous chat into a contact you can follow up - and the assistant never asks for those details again, because it already has them.

A person takes over without a handoff

When a member of the team replies, the assistant goes quiet. There is no transfer, no ticket number, no “an agent will be with you shortly”. The same thread continues, now with a person in it, and the visitor sees the reply within seconds.

Your team works from the Symmetry console, in the same place they work everything else. A returning visitor picks the conversation back up where it stopped, days later, without repeating themselves.

Every conversation is real work

This is the part that separates a front door from a chat widget.

A chat conversation lands in Symmetry as a record, exactly like an email, a voicemail or a fax: it joins a queue, it can be assigned and resolved, and it counts. Your site’s own forms post through the same door and land the same way. Nothing lives in a separate chat product with its own login, its own inbox and its own definition of “unanswered”.

Because the conversation is a record, the measurement is free. Response times, volumes and what people actually ask arrive in the daily digest without anyone assembling a report.

With an EMR connected, the visit happens in the bubble

For a practice running Symmetry Health, the bubble stops being a conversation and becomes a front desk. A patient can create their portal account, complete intake forms, book and manage appointments, ask about a same-day or video visit, check a balance and set reminders - without leaving the bubble and without being handed off to a portal they have to learn.

Each capability appears only where a connection supports it, and every write goes through your practice’s own systems. The website never talks to the EMR directly: the path is your site, then Symmetry, then your EMR. Nothing about the assistant is a place where patient information is quietly stored on the side.

Without that connection, what remains is still whole: the conversation, the assistant and your team.

The same thing, installable

The panel also opens as a full-screen page that a phone will offer to install under your practice’s name - a real icon on the home screen, no App Store listing to maintain and no separate app to build. Patients who use you often get an app. You get one more place the same conversations arrive.

What it is for

Small practices lose enquiries in the gap between a website and an inbox. The bubble closes that gap by making the website’s first moment into a record that someone owns, with an assistant covering the questions that have the same answer every time.

Which is the principle underneath everything we build. The machine handles what a good front desk repeats. People handle what a good front desk judges.
